Q: When I run Instant Manual, I
get the message “No such interface supported”, and the program does not work
properly. How can I fix this?
A: This is caused by a Microsoft
Security patch post Windows XP Service Pack 2, and is fixed in Abracadabra Instant
Manual 2.0.0.180. Download and install the latest version of Instant Manual to
overcome this problem:

Q: I’ve bought an Instant Manual
License online, and when I try to enter it in the registration screen, I keep
getting the error message:
Serial Number Not Found (-25001): Contact
Abracadabra Solutions for more information.
What does this mean?
A: There is a delay of up to 15
minutes between buying a license online and when it is propagated to all
eSellerate license servers. If you try again in 15 minutes it should work OK.
The best way to avoid this altogether is to buy a license from within Instant
Manual, using the Help | Register menu, and clicking the purchase
button. This will install and activate the license key for you immediately.
Q: When I try run Instant Manual, the
Microsoft Office install-on-demand dialog box pops up and asks me for the
location of the Office CD so that is can install a feature. How do I avoid
this?
A: Instant Manual requires a component that is installed with Internet
Explorer 5.5 or higher. This is installed with MS Office, but sometimes there
is a reference to it left for the install-on-demand engine to pick up. Download
the install-on-demand disabler (DisIod.zip)
and use it to disable install-on-demand for Instant Manual.
