The Configuration Dialog

The configuration dialog lets you set the hot keys that Abracadabra Instant
Manual uses to take screen captures. You can specify that the standard keys
should be used, or you specify your own key combinations by selecting the Use custom
keys
radio button.
You may need to use custom keys in a situation where the application you are
documenting already uses one of the standard keys as a hot key.
Note:
If you select Use custom keys, you must provide a key combination for all four
keys.
The standard hot keys are as follows:
Key Combination
Function
Print Screen
Capture the entire screen
Scroll Lock
Capture the currently active window
Pause / Break
Capture the window beneath the mouse pointer
Ctrl + Alt +
Print Screen
Stop recording and restore the main screen.
Note:
When capturing the window beneath the
mouse, if the pointer is positioned over a windowed control (like
a button or menu for example), the control itself will be captured. To capture
an entire window, move the mouse pointer over the title bar of the window.
You can print a label for the standard hot keys to help you remember them.
Go to Capture Key Labels...
Click the OK button to save changes and assign the key combinations, click
Cancel to abandon changes.
